Microphone

The tuner uses your microphone only after you press Start tuning and allow access in your browser. The sound is used to detect the pitch of your instrument while the tuner is open. The tuner does not record or save audio. You can turn microphone access off at any time in your browser settings.

Settings saved in your browser

The site remembers the last tuning you chose using your browser’s local storage, so the tuner opens the way you left it. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We may use cookies and similar technologies, including those of third-party partners such as analytics and advertising providers, to understand how the site is used and to show and measure ads. These partners may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, as described in their own privacy policies.
